Amazing Experience! Visitor

A little rain didn’t keep us down! Bert had nothing but fun and good food up his sleeve! My aunt, cousin and I visit at least once each year to NYC. We have enjoyed four food tours and are planning our next one with Foods of NY! Each host has been amazing and the food as well. You can’t beat the value and we throughly enjoy meeting new people and hearing the history of the town. The guides seem effortless in their abilities to show us a great time and to keep all guests comfortable no matter the weather.

We Will Be Back! Visitor

Our Original Greenwich Village food tour was excellent which we chose to celebrate our son's 19th birthday. Rick was fantastic and knowledgeable! There was plenty of food so PLEASE COME HUNGRY! Everything was so delicious ESPECIALLY those fish tacos. The walk was comfortable and Rick directed us perfectly. Thank you Foods of NY! WE WILL BE BACK!

One of the Best! Visitor

We have been on many food tours all over the world. This was one of the best ones we have ever done. Lots of food! Great mix of history, food knowledge and local insights. Robin, our guide was flawless! We enjoyed her knowledge, personality and professionalism!!

Totally Worth It! Visitor

This is the 4th Foods of NY Tours I’ve been on and the ease of booking, quality of the bites and, of course, the hospitality of the tour guides are second to none! The Chelsea Market tour is an informative overview of Chelsea Market and is indoors for the majority of the time. I would say that it’s a little more challenging to hear the guide as the market fills up with people, but Joe worked hard to wrangle our group and bring us close together in a huddle. Joe is a wealth of knowledge and is the type of guy you’ll want to sit and enjoy a beer with!

Incredible Experience! Visitor

This food tour was amazing! The food selections were great with the historical information about each selection made the tour that much more interesting. We drove on from CT hungry and left with full stomachs and a wealth of knowledge. Great way to learn new exciting places to eat!

We Had A Great Time! Visitor

We took part in the Flavors of Chinatown tour this past weekend and had a great time. The food was uniformly good with some unexpected surprises, but our guide really made the experience. Bert was friendly and knowledgeable, but also very engaging and just as curious about everyone in our group as we were in the subject matter. That kind of energy can easily take an experience from good to great, and that’s what Bert delivered!

Absolutely Loved Our Tour! Visitor

Absolutely loved our Greenwich Village tour! Cindy was a delight and the foods we tried were excellent. We ended up spending the rest of our day there and going back to a few of the spots. Highly recommend and would do it again!

A FLAVORFUL PREVIEW OF OUR FOOD TOUR EXPERIENCE

MEET TODD, OWNER AND FOUNDER

My first journey to New York City with friends was in the Summer of 1977. I was 15 years old and I had $5.00 in my pocket; enough for a round trip bus ticket, the perfect slice of thin-crust pizza and, quite possibly, the best cannoli I’ve ever eaten. That day ended outside a tiny cafe listening to an elderly man playing a sitar. This food and cultural experience was the beginning of Foods of New York Tours, even though I didn’t realize it at the time.

THE STORY OF
ONE HUNGRY MAN

It really all began in 1977 by sampling the perfect slice of thin crust New York style pizza.
