Our food tasting and cultural walking tours have been developed especially for food and history lovers. Over the past 22 years we found that some children have a great time on our tours. If you think yours will, please bring them along – our tours are great for young history and food lovers, as well as future chefs!

But, in our vast touring experience, we have found that many of those under the age of 15 might have a harder time enjoying themselves on a tour. They may be indifferent, fidgety, or will not appreciate an extended group activity and unfortunately, their displeasure could interfere with the exciting experience that Foods of New York Tours has carefully crafted for you and the other guests.

If you are bringing a child 5 years and above, a paid ticket IS required.
If you are bringing a child 5 years and below, a paid ticket IS NOT required (food tastings will not be ordered).
If you would like food tastings for a child under 5, please be sure to purchase a ticket in advance.

Whatever you decide, please indicate when you purchase your tickets whether you are bringing a child on the tour, so that your tour guide is aware. Please also note that strollers can be a challenge on the tour due to the many narrow sidewalks that we walk on, uneven cobble stone streets that we cross, certain staircases that we use when entering establishments, and the very small shops that we visit. If you have further questions pertaining to tickets for children, please contact us.
