Somehow, Thanksgiving is next week. I have no idea how that happened. People are starting to nail down their plans for Turkey Day, and for many that includes making reservations at their favorite NYC restaurant! A lot of our favorites from our tours will be hosting Thanksgiving this year, but hurry; spots are booking up fast.

Cornelia Street Cafe
29 Cornelia Street, Greenwich Village

Cornelia Street Cafe will be hosting a 3-course prix fixe meal this Thanksgiving. In addition to traditional Thanksgiving fare, they’ll be offering main course options like maple glazed salmon, grilled rib eye steak, and a vegetarian option: winter squash and sweet pea risotto. Call them at (212) 989-9319 for reservations.

Saxon + Parole
316 Bowery at Bleecker Street, NoHo

This restaurant sister of Public — which is on our Greenwich Village tour — will be serving a special prix fixe menu on Thanksgiving afternoon and evening featuring choices like turkey with charred lemon-fennel, carrot and ginger soup, and a wide array of desserts. (Cinnamon marshmallows, and banana foster tarts, and mini pumpkin cheesecakes… oh my!) Don’t forget about the vegetarian main course option: sweet potato miso ravioli with arugula and toasted almonds. Reservations are available on Open Table.

Home Restaurant
20 Cornelia Street, Greenwich Village

Home is offering a 4-course prix fixe meal on their heated garden patio featuring some of our favorite Home classics like their savory cheesecake and, of course, all the Thanksgiving traditional foods. Don’t like turkey? No problem! You can also get grilled filet of beef or poached halibut for your main course. They are accepting reservations online or at (212) 243-9579.

Peels
325 Bowery at 2nd Street, NoHo

Regional American restaurant Peels will be serving a 3-course prix fixe Thanksgiving meal. They’re also offering Thanksgiving pies to go upon request (apple or pumpkin), but make sure to hurry; they need at least a 72 hour notice! They’re accepting reservations for tables on their website, at [email protected], or at (646) 602-7015. Hurry!

$50 per person
12pm-9pm

Macelleria
48 Gansevoort St, Meatpacking

With the only a la carte menu on this list, Macelleria will be serving up the traditional turkey with stuffing and cranberry sauce in their warm atmosphere. If you’re in the mood for something a little more eclectic, try starting with the velvety vellutata (a vegetable soup) or finishing off your meal with an apple strudel with cinnamon gelato.

We’re also hearing rumors about Thanksgiving dinner being offered at Palma (Greenwich Village), The Smile (NoHo), Commerce (Greenwich Village), and The Little Owl (Greenwich Village), but we don’t have menus to link you for those places.

Wherever you celebrate, we hope you truly enjoy your Thanksgiving! If you’ve got a favorite NYC restaurant to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner, please let us know so we can check it out.
